Get Cooking With Chef RV - Okonomiyaki Filipino Style

INGREDIENTS:
SAUCE:
- 1 cup DEL MONTE Sweet Blend Ketchup (320g)
- ½ cup DEL MONTE Quick n Easy BBQ Marinade (200ml)
- 2 Tbsp sugar, white
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp oil
- ¼ cup onion, red, sliced
- 200g pork, ground
- 1 pouch DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce (200g)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper, black
- 2 pc egg, beaten
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cup cabbage, shredded
- ½ cup cheese
- 500g eggplant, grilled, peeled and chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup leeks, sliced
PROCEDURE:
- In a bowl, mix the DEL MONTE Sweet Blend Ketchup, DEL MONTE Quick n Easy Barbecue Marinade, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
- Heat oil and sauté onion until aromatic. Add the ground pork and sauté until lightly browned. Add DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix the egg, all-purpose flour, baking powder, cabbage, cheese, chopped talong, and meat mixture. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Pour 1 cup of the mixture and cook for 3 minutes on each sides.
- Plate cooked okonomiyaki. Spread sauce over the top then drizzle mayonnaise. Garnish with leeks.
