Ingredients

  • 2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper, black
  • 500 g pork, liempo, bacon-cut
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup DEL MONTE Red Cane Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar, white
  • 1/2 cup onion, red, chopped
  • 1 can DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits (227g)
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper, black

Procedure

1. Combine the cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Dredge the pork belly pieces in the seasoned cornstarch. Deep-fry until crispy.
2. To prepare the dipping sauce, mix the DEL MONTE Red Cane Vinegar, sugar, onion, DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits with syrup, cucumber, salt, and pepper.
