Kimchi Afritada Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup onion, red
- 1 Tbsp garlic
- 500g chicken, parts
- 2 Tbsp patis
- 1/4 cup kimchi
- 1 pouch DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce (200g)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup potato
- 1 cup carrot
- 1 Tbsp sugar, white
- 1/2 cup melting cheese
- 1/4 cup leeks

Procedure
1. Sauté the onion and garlic until aromatic. Add chicken and sauté until lightly browned. Add patis and cook until almost dry. Add the kimchi and sauté for 2 minutes.
2. Add DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce and water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Add the potatoes and carrots and simmer for another 10 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
4. Add the sugar and cheese then mix until melted. Add half of the leeks. Transfer into a platter then top with remaining leeks.
