Sweet Saucy Pork Recipe
Juicy pork tenderloin simmered to perfection in a pineapple-infused tomato sauce, garnished with sweet pineapple tidbits and bell peppers.

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 500g pork, lomo/tenderloin
- 2 Tbsp onion, red
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 can DEL MONTE 100% Pineapple Juice with ACE (240ml)
- 1 pouch DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce (115g)
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp liquid seasoning
- 2 pc bay leaf/laurel leaf
- 2 pouch DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits (200g)
- 1/4 cup sugar, white
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, red

Procedure
1 Brown the pork on all sides then set aside.
2 In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until aromatic. Add DEL MONTE 100% Pineapple Juice with ACE, DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce, reserved pineapple syrup, water, soy sauce, liquid seasoning, and bay leaf. Add back the pork. Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes over low heat. Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.
3 Add DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits and sugar then continue simmering for 5 minutes or until sauce is thick. Add back the pork and bell pepper. Simmer for 3 minutes. To serve, slice the pork tenderloin and pour over the sauce.
