Cheesy Pork Caldereta Recipe
Deliciously spiced pork stew with banana ketchup sauce, mixed with vegetables and creamy cheese.
Ingredients
- 500g pork, kasim
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp garlic
- 1/2 tsp pepper, black
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup onion, red
- 1 pouch DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce (200g)
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup liver spread
- 1 pc siling labuyo
- 2 Tbsp DEL MONTE Extra Rich Banana Ketchup (320g)
- 1 Tbsp pickle relish
- 1 cup potato
- 1 cup carrot
- 1/2 pc pork bouillon cube
- 1/4 cup melting cheese
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, green

Procedure
1. Marinate pork in soy sauce, garlic, and pepper for at least 30 minutes. Drain the pork and set aside. Reserve the marinade.
2. In a pot, sauté the onions until aromatic. Add the garlic from the marinade and continue sautéing until aromatic. Add the pork and sauté until lightly browned. Add the reserved marinade and cook until almost dry.
3. Add the DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce, water, liver spread, siling labuyo, DEL MONTE Extra Rich Banana Ketchup, and pickle relish. Bring to a boil then turn down the heat to low. Cover the pot and simmer for 30 minutes.
4 Add the potatoes and carrots then simmer for 10 minutes. Add the pork bouillon cube. Add the melting cheese and bell pepper then simmer for 2 minutes.
