Spicy Chicken Penne Recipe

Ingredients

    • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
      • 1/4 cup onion, red
        • 1 Tbsp garlic
          • 250g chicken, thigh fillet, sliced into strips
            • 1/4 Tbsp chili flakes
              • 1 pouch DEL MONTE Filipino Style Spaghetti Sauce (500g)
                • 1/2 cup water
                  • 1/2 pack penne (500g), cooked
                    • 1/4 chili flakes
                      • 1/2 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
                        • 2 Tbsp basil, fresh

Procedure

1 Sauté onion and garlic in oil until aromatic. Add chicken thigh fillet and sauté until browned. Add the chili flakes and sauté briefly.

2 Add DEL MONTE Filipino Style Spaghetti Sauce and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

3 Pour over cooked penne. Garnish with chili flakes, parmesan cheese, and basil.
