Chicken Afritada (Korean Style) Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup onion, red
- 1 Tbsp garlic
- 500g chicken, parts
- 2 Tbsp patis
- 1 pouch DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce (200g)
- 4 Tbsp gochujang
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup potato
- 1/2 cup carrot
- 1 1/2 Tbsp sugar, white
- 1/2 tsp pepper, black
- 2 Tbsp green onions
- 1 tsp sesame seeds

Procedure
1. Sauté onion and garlic until aromatic. Add the chicken and sauté until lightly browned and the oil is released. Add patis and cook until almost dry.
2. Add DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce, gochujang, and water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Add potatoes and carrots. Simmer for another 10 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
4 Season with sugar and pepper. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
