Cheese Buldak Fire Chicken Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients

    • 500g chicken thigh fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes with skin
      • 1 cup cornstarch
        • 1/2 tsp salt
          • 1/2 tsp black pepper
            • 3 cups oil, for deep-frying
              • 1 pouch DEL MONTE Creamy & Cheesy Spaghetti Sauce (500g)
                • 7 Tbsp gochujang
                  • 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
                    • 1 Tbsp KIKKOMAN Standard Grade Soy Sauce (100ml)
                      • 1 cup water
                        • 2 Tbsp white sugar
                          • 1 pc chicken bouillon cube
                            • 3/4 pack DEL MONTE Spaghetti (400g), cooked
                              • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
                                • 1/4 cup leeks, cut into 2-inch length

Procedure

1 Dredge chicken in cornstarch. Deep-fry until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

2 For the Sauce: In a pot, add DEL MONTE Creamy & Cheesy Spaghetti Sauce, gochujang, ginger, Kikkoman Standard Grade Soy Sauce, water, sugar, and chicken bouillon cube. Mix and bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.

3 Set aside 1 cup of the sauce.

4 Into the remaining sauce, add the cooked DEL MONTE Spaghetti and toss well. Make a well in the center of the pan to make space for the extra sauce.

5 Mix the mozzarella into the reserved sauce. Then, pour the sauce into the well in the center of the pan. Turn on the heat to melt the cheese.

6 Top with the chicken. Garnish with leeks. Serve immediately.
